Shamika Tissera is a software engineer specializing in the integration of artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems. He is currently a Senior Software Engineer at IFS, and has previously worked at companies including WSO2 and Spil Labs.

He holds a First Class Honours degree in Management and Information Technology, with a specialization in Information Technology, from the University of Kelaniya. His research interests include large language models (LLMs), knowledge management, AI for finance, big data, and the broader field of artificial intelligence.
